Prom 2010 Ticket Information

Welcome to "A LOVE STORY", theme for PROM 2010. We are very excited to be able to offer Prom tickets through our web store and provide you with the opportunity to use your credit card. We hope this makes the purchasing process easier and more convenient. Please make sure that you print all the necessary paperwork and read the information and instructions carefully in order to complete the ticket purchase process. Don't forget to print two receipts, one to return with your student's Prom Contract and one for yourself. Also, the purchase process is not complete until the signed contract has been returned to the ASB Office.

We know that this is a very special evening for everyone involved and we are trying to make this event as stress free, fun and a memory they'll cherish for a lifetime! STEP TWO: Pay Prom Fees at the Webstore

“A Love Story” – Saturday Evening, April 24, 2010
Sony Studios

Timeline of the Evening
3:00 – 5:30        Appointment Time for Pictures with O’Connor Studios in the small gym.
Students may sign up in the ASB office the week prior to the prom to get their Prom pictures taken early so they do not have to wait in line at Sony Studios.

5:30 – 6:00        Students are to report to the cafeteria to register.  At that time they will Check-In and receive their bus tickets according to the first letter of the last name of the person who purchased the ticket.  Students will report to a classroom of their choice and check in with the chaperones.

5:30 – 6:00        Rooms Open After students have reported to their room of choice and have checked in with the chaperones, students will be able to have snacks and drinks provided by the West Ranch PAC.

6:00      Be in Rooms  All students MUST be in their assigned rooms by 6:00.  Any late students must            report to the cafeteria, and will be last to arrive at Prom.

6:15                  Promenade     Promenade starts, STUDENTS are escorted through the promenade with their
assigned classrooms once classrooms are dismissed.  The Promenade will be held in the outdoor amphitheater.  Parents and Friends are invited to attend the promenade.

6:30                  Busses Leave West Ranch

7:15                  Busses arrive at Sony Studios

11:00                Coronation of the 2009 Prom King and Queen

12:00                Prom Ends, Depart for West Ranch High School      

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL BE CONFISCATED
No Gum, mints, or water bottles.  Alcohol/flasks, all tobacco products, any illegal substances, canes, zoot chains, glow in the dark items, lighters/matches, markers, pens, pencils, sharp objects, wallet chains, lanyards, eye drops, mouthwash, and weapons.

Students will be searched before they are allowed into Sony Studios.

PHOTOS
O’Conner Photography will be at Sony Studios to take “Couples Pictures” and “Group Pictures”.  A price list is availabe in the ASB office.  Students may also sign up for early appointment times that will be taken at school in the small gym.

PROMENADE
On the evening of Prom, please arrive at West Ranch no later than 5:45 PM and report directly to the West Ranch Cafeteria to check-in.  The promenade is scheduled to begin at 6:15 PM, so please be prompt!  Parents and Friends are invited to attend the Promenade in the outdoor amphiteater.

TRANSPORTATION
All students must take a bus to prom.  Though every effort is made for students to ride a charter bus, it is not guaranteed.  Some students may have to ride school busses. 

COAT CHECK
A coat check will be availabe at Sony Studios.

CORONATION
Our Court Coronation will begin at 11:00 PM on the main dance floor.  Start gathering early so that you’ll be sure to see our Prom King and Queen crowned.

ENDING THE EVENING
As the evening winds down, busses will begin to leave the Prom at 11:30 PM.  If you would like to be on one of the first busses, simply assemble at the entrance to the studios.  Administrators will assist you in boarding, and each bus will not leave until it is full.  Busses will not leave from Sony Studios any earlier than 11:30 PM.  The last song will finish at Midnight.
