Bonjour tout le monde!
Welcome to a little piece of Paris right here in the SCV! I'm Madame Gannon and I've been teaching world languages (English, Spanish and French) for almost 25 years. For a quick intro into each year of our French Program, please click on "What We Do In French Class?" below.
As for me personally, I graduated with a degree in French and Linguistics from UCLA then moved to France and the French West Indies (Martinique) for several years to do volunteer work, translation and interpretation, and of course, eat great food on fabulous beaches! I love sharing the language and culture of the dozens of French-speaking regions of the world with West Ranch Wildcats.
Along with teaching French 1, 2 and 3, I help coordinate the AP French Language and Culture course, and help students leaders run our French and Ciné Clubs. We even have a student-run chapter of the prestigious French National Honor Society (SNF) -.there's something for everyone whether you want a leadership role or just to hop on for the ride! Please check out our pages for more information, or if you're just looking for some Francophone Fun! And feel free to shoot me an email with any questions.
A très bientôt, j'espère!
