Hola, me llamo Señora Zeilenga. I have been teaching at West Ranch High School since the fall of 2005. I teach Spanish 1 periods 3, 5, & 7 and Spanish 2 period 4 & 6. I am a Hart High School graduate and am honored to be back teaching in the district where I attended school. After high school I attended California Lutheran University where I studied Liberal Studies and Spanish. I also kept myself busy during college by being a member of the soccer and dance teams. My love for the Spanish language and culture was ignited during my first study abroad trip to Spain in 2000. Since then I have lived/traveled in Mexico, Spain, Honduras, Peru, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. In 2011 I completed my Master's Degree in Administration from Cal State Bakersfield. In my free time I love to travel, snowboard, run, cook, and spend time with my family. I have really enjoyed my time here at West Ranch and look forward to many more fond memories.
This year we will be using Descubre as our textbook. The book offers a Supersite: www.vhlcentral.com

This is an online tool that will allow students to practice activities receiving automatic feedback.  They will be able to view authentic TV clips, grammar tutorials, practice conversational skills, complete audio programs, and study vocabulary.  Students will need a computer with Internet connection to complete assigned activities.
