After updating their Budget Challenge accounts and taking the Week 6 Quiz (periods 2 and 4 only), students worked on their last Supply and Demand group project. Their task was to take an everyday item from home and come up with a new product based on their item. Then they created a poster that included an advertisement as well as 4 changes in demand graphs and 4 changes in supply graphs related to their new product. Most groups did not finish so they will finish their posters next class period.

Today students completed a challenging Supply and Demand Performance Task. They were given the task of applying what they have learned to situations as economic consultants. After working on their own, they moved in to groups to work with people that had the same scenario. As a group, they came to some conclusions and completed a final mini-poster of their findings.

Today was the final day of preparations for the Unit 2 Test! We also had about 10 minutes in periods 2/4 when we went outside to deal with the Cap & Gown orders (if you were absent, you should place your order online)
- Supply Quiz - students took this quiz open note and with their groups; the goal was to have them review some of the material from last week and to see what the graphing questions would look like on the test this week; if you were absent, please plan to take this when you come in to take the unit test.
- Chapter 6 (Price - Supply and Demand Together) - this is our last set of class notes before the test; if you were absent, look at the PPT posted below.
- When students were finished, they had some time to work on the Review Questions and Applying the Principles (the key is posted below) - this is part of their Unit 2 packet which is due on the day of their test
- Unit 2 Review - I shared the answers for all three parts of the unit review so students had them in preparation for the test; the key is posted below; any students that had at least 50% of Chapters 4 & 5 complete when they came to class earned 5 points extra credit towards their unit test score.
