No Food/Drink Drop-Off

West Ranch High School does not accept food/drink drop-off items for students. The only exception will be a medical emergency (such as Diabetes), which must be verified and handled through the Health Office.

Students can purchase a healthy lunch from the cafeteria or bring their lunch with them

To create and deposit money into a cafeteria account for your student’s use during the year, please go to http://williamhart.healtheliving.net and setup an account.

Forgotten/Lost & Found Items

Forgotten items such as homework, books, backpacks, sports equipment, etc. may be accepted at the Student Responsibility Center (SRC) by the front gate.

It is your student’s responsibility to pick up their items between classes. No items will be delivered nor will the student receive notification from the office about the item as there will be no interruptions during instructional periods.

Items found on campus will also be retained in the SRC. Any item not picked up or not claimed from lost and found on the last day of classes will be donated.

Period 1 Class

Having a Period 1 (P1) class is a privilege and students who request a P1 class must have at least a 2.0 GPA in the previous semester, excellent attendance and no behavior issues.

There is no guarantee that:

  •         A student’s request for a P1 class will be granted
  •         The sibling(s) of students enrolled in a P1 class will also have a P1 class
  •         The student will have a P1 class for both semesters

If a student has a P1 class and is marked tardy or is absent more than 10 times in that class, the student will not be permitted to take a P1 class the next semester.
