Principal’s Message: June 1, 2025
Good afternoon Wildcats,
We hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It's hard to believe, but we've reached our final week of school.
This week kicks off with a regular EVEN day tomorrow. Following that, we have Final Exam minimum days from Tuesday through Thursday.
Please take note of the special minimum day schedule, especially regarding city bus pick-up times:
- Tuesday & Wednesday: Last bus departs West Ranch at 1:45 PM.
- Thursday: Last bus departs West Ranch at 12:45 PM.
As students prepare for final exams, we strongly encourage them to prioritize a good night's rest and a nutritious breakfast each day. We are incredibly proud of the academic success they have demonstrated throughout the year and look forward to their continued achievements.
Thank you to all of the students, parents, and staff who supported our Softball and Baseball teams yesterday. It was definitely a great day to be a Wildcat! Both teams had tremendous seasons and have so much to be proud of. Softball played a great game but unfortunately didn't get the outcome we were hoping for with a 7-8 game against St. Bonaventure in extra innings. Baseball then played another great game with a 2-1 win over Mater Dei. Hunter Manning pitched a complete game while catching a fly ball to record the last out of the game. Congratulations to both Softball and Baseball for an amazing year.

EARLY RELEASE DURING FINALS WEEK
If you know your student will require an early release during Finals (6/3, 6/4, 6/5), please email the Attendance Office at wrattendance@hartdistrict.org in advance. Remember that it is district policy not to release students during the last 15 minutes of class or when there are less than 30 minutes left in the school day.
Your student(s) will need to pick up their release pass before class - no passes will be delivered during finals- so there is no disruption or distraction to the class. The Attendance Office Staff appreciates your support and understanding.
SUMMER ATHLETIC REGISTRATION
Summer camp registration is open on the ASB webstore. All athletes will need to obtain a sports physical from a medical doctor. Athletic clearance registration will begin and all physicals will be uploaded to the site for the new school year. Check out our Summer Camp website for all the details.
