Even Day testing schedule:

There is three dates physicals are being offered at Exer Urgent Care on the Old Road. These dates are
Monday, April 15th and Wednesday, April 24th from 3:30 – 8:30pm and then Monday, June 10th from 8:00-
1:00pm. These physicals are FREE to students unless they would like to make a donation to the athletic
training program. Parents must be present for these appointments. Students may come to the athletic
training room to sign up or may sign up on the schools' website under “Kylie Trammell” in the staff directory.

Please attend our meeting on Wednesday at lunch in room 427. We will be holding our election for next
year’s officers!

Seniors: Come to the table set up in the quad at tutorial, brunch and lunch on Thursday to vote for eniors
superlatives for the Paw Print’s May senor issue. Categories include “Most Changed” and “Most Likely to
be a Star on SNL” Voting will take place only on Thursday, so make sure to comeout!

The Academic Decathlon team is looking for new members. If you are interested, please visit Mr.Kim in
room 308.

Attention Juniors, do you want to lead the Pack during Football & Basketball games? Come pick
up your application today from the Assistant Principals office! All applications are due by Friday,
April 26, at 1:00pm. No Exceptions!

Attention Class of 2019!Graduation is quickly approaching and there is an opportunity for you to be a part of the ceremony. It will be an honor to be chosen to present one of the two speeches that will be
given the night of your high school graduation on June 6, 2019. The students chosen to speak
will be speaking on behalf of his/her classmates giving parents, friends, teachers and
administrators an idea of how it feels to be a high school graduate right now - your memories,
thoughts, excitement, fears and sense of accomplishment for having completed your high school
education. If you are interested, please come to the Assistant Principal's office today to pick
up an application. All applications are due by 1pm on Friday, April 26. No late applications will be
accepted. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Hinze in the AP office today!

Next week the Theatre Arts program presents its final production of the year – BLITHE SPIRIT, the classic
comedy by Noel Coward – about a famous author whose first wife haunts him from beyond, making
mischief in his second marriage. Chaos ensues as he attempts to rid his house of the beloved ghost.
BLITHE SPIRIT is presented next Wednesday through Friday, May1, 2, and 3 at 7:00 pm in the theatre
and is good fun for the whole family! General admission is $8 for adults, $5 for students.

The Castaic Lions Club is offering scholarship to seniors who live in Castaic or Val Verde. There is no
GPA requirement for applications.
Applications can be found on Naviance or from Mrs. Cazan

William S. Hart Pony Baseball and USA Softball is awarding scholarships to seniors who participated in at
least 3 years in their program, and have at least a 3.0 grade point average.
See Mrs. Cazan for an application. Applications are due April 30th.

Would you like to be a part of the super motivated, creative, influential and hardworking yearbook staff? If
so, grab an application to become a member of the 2019-20 yearbook staff in room 409. The deadline to
apply is MAY 3RD !

WR Dance Team Tryout info!
If your dancer is interested in becoming a member of the 2019-2020 West Ranch Dance Team, please
join us for a MANDATORY information meeting for parents.
When: Wednesday, May 1 st from 6:30 – 7:30
Where: West Ranch High School Staff Lounge
Who: Parents and dancers who wish to participate on the West Ranch Dance Team
Tryout Clinics: May 14&15 from 3:3 – 5:30
Tryout Date: May 16, 4:00pm - end

The Paw Print
West Ranch’s journalism publication, The Paw Print, is now taking applications for the 2019-2020 school
year. All West Ranch students can apply. See Ms. G in room 212 for an application. The deadline is May

The Canyon Theater Guild is offering scholarships to students who have participated in performing arts
while in high school. You do not have to been a part of Canyon Theater Guild to apply.
Applications are available from Mrs. Cazan and are due May 14 th .

Attention Seniors:
IF you are applying to colleges and looking for scholarship opportunities, go to Naviance and look at the list of scholarships available. Deadlines are listed and scholarships are being updated weekly. If you have any questions, please see your counselor for details.
ASB & Library Fines
Students if you have an ASB and/or library delinquency, it is your responsibility to clear those fines as
soon as possible. Delinquencies include parking tickets, so if you have received a parking ticket, don’t just
throw it away. All delinquencies must be cleared prior to purchasing a Prom ticket, take care of the fines
today! Seniors you will not receive your cap and gown or graduation tickets until the delinquencies are
Student Parking Lot
Reminder that students may only park their vehicle in the West Ranch student parking lot with a valid
2018-2019 Parking Permit. This parking permit MUST be displayed at all times. Failure to display the
parking permit will result in a parking ticket. All cars must be parked in a valid parking spot, you may not
park in front of a barricade or along a curb. Tickets are being issued daily. If you don’t have a parking
permit, you cannot park in the student parking lot.
