Dress Code

Our campus is a place where learning is honored and business is conducted. You should dress as if you are going to work. What you wear and how you look allows you to participate in learning without posing a risk to your health and safety.

So, the District has established a dress code which applies to all on and off-campus school activities. These guidelines are:

  • Wearing a top (shirt) with straps and bottoms (shorts, pants, leggings, etc) or equivalent (like a dress) and shoes

  • Your clothes must completely cover the front, back, and sides of your body, especially your chest, privates and behind, and cannot be see-through or transparent

  • Underwear should not be visible or worn in place of a shirt or top

  • If you wear hats, beanies or have a hoodie on, we need to see your face and ears

  • Please keep in mind that what you wear should be appropriate for school activities like PE, science labs, and other activities where unique hazards exist

  • Wearing clothing that depicts or advocates violence, has pictures of weapons, crimes, alcohol or drugs, pornography, hate speech or can be tied to gangs or gang activity are NOT allowed."
