Kasey Watanabe
Teacher-Librarian
Kasey is the Teacher-Librarian at West Ranch High School. She’s dual credentialed in English and Library Science and is currently wrapping up her Master of Library and Information Science degree. When she’s not in the library, you’ll probably find her hanging out with her two kids, Kira and William, who love the beach, swimming, and Roblox marathons. Kasey loves traveling, trying new foods, and soaking up different cultures. Her all-time favorite treats? Carnitas burritos and ice cream!
Tracey Pedroza
Library Media Technician
Tracey is a dedicated library media technician with a passion for organizing and curating resources that enrich WR High School. When she's not in the library, Tracey enjoys tiny cooking-- creating miniature meals for her two beloved cats, Earl and Penny. Weekends often find her browsing REI for the latest outdoor gear or exploring the local farmers market in search of fresh produce. A nature enthusiast, Tracey dreams of traveling to Cinque Terre, Italy, where she hopes to hike along the stunning cliffside trails of the Riviera coastline.
Cynthia Sockett
Textbook Technician
Cynthia is a dedicated Textbook Technician at the West Ranch Library, where she helps keep materials organized and accessible for students and staff. A passionate Los Angeles Dodgers fan, she especially enjoys following the career of Shohei Ohtani. Outside of work, Cynthia’s big heart shines through in her love for animals, especially in caring for shelter dogs and helping them find new homes. She also enjoys reading, baking homemade sourdough bread, and decorating her kitchen with her signature collection of roosters. If given the chance to travel anywhere, Cynthia would choose Japan, drawn to the kindness and warmth of its people.
