Welcome Wildcats. My name is Mr. Helm and I teach Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. I love my job and I'm here to help you every day in room 537. IWe are going to have a lot of fun while learning together.

 

Here are some fun facts about me..

- I am raising 6 kids from the ages of 10-15 in a wonderful blended family relationship with my wife, who also teaches Spanish.

- My degree is in Music Composition from UCSD

- I have toured and/or played electric bass in 5 continents.

- I recently traveled to Malawi, Africa with 4 former West Ranch students to help build a school in a remote village.

- I love camping, hiking, biking and swimming in the ocean.

- My dog Skylar shares my love of hiking, biking and swimming in the ocean.

- I actively collect and continue to play vynil records boasting a collection well over 5,500.

- I will do whatever it takes to help reach my students on all levels as my room is always open..so, what are you waiting for? Stop by!
